This policy explains what information GeoImaging Systems LLC ("GeoImaging", "we") collects through geoimagingsystems.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, company (if you give it), the type of enquiry and your message.
- When you visit: basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We count visits and measure page speed without cookies, and we receive a technical report if a page fails to work.
- With your consent: if you click Accept in our cookie banner, we use analytics and advertising cookies from our analytics and social media partners, to understand how visitors use the site and what kinds of organizations visit, and we may record how you use the site, including a visit that hits an error. If you click Reject, none of these load.
- Client dashboard: if you sign in to a client dashboard, we use cookies that keep you signed in. They are needed for the dashboard to work.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and follow up with you.
- To keep the site working and secure, including filtering spam, fixing errors and preventing misuse.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host the website, store data, send email, filter spam and monitor errors. They use your information only to provide those services to us.
- Our sister company. Utility-locate enquiries are shared with GeoImaging Locating Solutions LLC so it can respond.
- When the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid legal request.
We do not sell your personal information. Our service providers store data in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form enquiries for up to three years, then delete them. Technical logs are kept for short periods. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, see "Your choices".
Client dashboard data
Project information in a client dashboard is used only to deliver that client's project. It is visible only to the people the client invites and to GeoImaging Systems management.
Your choices
- Cookies: use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to change your choice at any time.
- Your information: to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email info@geoimagingsystems.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- Do Not Track: our site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. You can turn off optional cookies with Cookie settings.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
